"the Presence Appointment"

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

1. Making the time - set an alarm on your phone for a time that' works for your schedule; it doesn't have to be hours and hours and it doesn'have to be super early. God just wants you to put Him FIRST (Matthew 6:33). 
2. Finding the space - your appointment space should be an undistracted space where you can pray in peace; no distractions, no onlookers and no judgement. You can also set the atmosphere with  worship music playing in the background. (Matthew 6:6). 
3. Develop your plan - use prayers in the Bible as an outline, to organize your prayer and devotional time. The Lord's Prayer provides a great outline on not necessarily what to pray, but how to structure your prayers (Matthew 6:9-14). The Tabernacle Prayer is also a great guide to usher you directly into God's Presence.
